1Sign in and select an instructor workspaceSign in with Google or an email code, then choose the institution where you want to work.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open the sign-in page. Use the language selector in the upper-right corner if you want to change the interface language before signing in.

  2. 2

    To use Google, press the Google sign-in button and complete Google's authentication flow.

  3. 3

    To use email, enter your email address and press the button that requests a sign-in code.

  4. 4

    Open the email, copy the eight-digit one-time code, enter it in the code field and press the sign-in button.

  5. 5

    If you belong to multiple instructor workspaces, the workspace chooser appears. Select the institution or personal teaching workspace you want to use.

  6. 6

    Each workspace card displays the institution name and your role. Institution administrators can also manage the institutional teaching team.

    To switch later, use the instructor workspace option at the bottom of the sidebar.

2Find and create a courseCreate a course, assign instructors and manage the searchable course list.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Press “My Courses” in the sidebar.

  2. 2

    Use the search box to find a course by name, description or institution.

  3. 3

    Use the status filter to show all, active-only or archived-only courses.

  4. 4

    Sort by status and date, newest, oldest, name, student count or instructor count.

  5. 5

    Press “Create course”.

  6. 6

    Enter the required course name and an optional description.

  7. 7

    In the instructor picker, select the active institution administrators or instructors who may manage the course.

  8. 8

    Press “Save”. After successful creation, you return to the course list.

3Edit, archive and delete a courseSafely manage course details, assigned instructors, archive state and permanent deletion.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Select the course card in the course list.

  2. 2

    The details page contains separate areas for assignments, students and assigned instructors.

  3. 3

    Press “Edit course” to change the name, description or assigned instructors.

  4. 4

    Update the fields, optionally change the archive switch and press “Save”.

  5. 5

    For quick archiving, press “Archive” on the course details page and confirm.

  6. 6

    To reactivate an archived course, press “Restore”.

  7. 7

    If you are the original creator and deletion is allowed, press “Delete” and confirm the permanent operation.

4Assign a student to an assignmentAssignment access is course-based: add students to the course, then create the assignment in that course.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Press “Students” in the sidebar, or press the Students button on a course details page.

  2. 2

    Press the bulk invitation button.

  3. 3

    Select the course to which the students should be added.

  4. 4

    Enter or paste the student email addresses. Multiple addresses can be submitted together.

  5. 5

    Press the invitation button. The success message reports how many students were added.

  6. 6

    Create the assignment in the same course. Course members receive access according to the assignment's visibility and dates.

    To remove a student, find the membership, press its removal action and confirm.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open the course details page and press “New assignment”.

  2. 2

    The course is preselected when you arrive from its details page. Otherwise select it manually.

  3. 3

    Enter the required assignment title and the formatted instructions.

  4. 4

    Set the opening and closing date and time. Students can start or resume only while the assignment is open.

  5. 5

    Optionally enter a time limit and enable future visibility or anonymous grading.

  6. 6

    Press “Save”. The application returns to the course details page.

  7. 7

    To make changes, press “Edit assignment” on its card, update the fields and save.

  8. 8

    Use Archive or Restore on the assignment card. Permanent deletion is available only when no submission exists.

6Find and open submissionsFilter submissions, understand their status and open the correct item directly in Evaluation.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Press “Submissions” in the sidebar.

  2. 2

    Review the totals for all submissions, pending review, graded submissions and average score.

  3. 3

    Filter by course and then by in progress, submitted, pending review or graded status.

  4. 4

    Search by student name, email, assignment, course or institution.

  5. 5

    Choose grouped, compact or card view.

  6. 6

    Review the submission date, viewed state, comment count and grade.

  7. 7

    Press “View”. The correct course, assignment and student are opened automatically in Evaluation.

7Review a submission and add commentsSelect the course, assignment and student, inspect the document, add inline comments and export reports.

  1. 1

    On Evaluation, first select a course and then an assignment.

  2. 2

    Open the student picker. Search by name, filter unseen, no-comment, ungraded or graded submissions, and choose a sorting method.

  3. 3

    Select a student's card. The explicit selection records the submission as viewed.

  4. 4

    Read the submitted document on the Final state tab.

  5. 5

    Optionally enable blind marking, word analysis, paste highlighting or comment visibility.

  6. 6

    To add an inline comment, select text, enter feedback in the floating panel and press “Save”.

  7. 7

    Use “Go to text” in the comments list to find the linked passage, or delete the comment.

  8. 8

    DOCX downloads the document. PDF report opens the print view, which can be saved as PDF.

    Use Force unlock only to release a stuck or interrupted student editing session.

    Select the Replay tab on the evaluation page.

  2. 2

    Press Play. While replay is active, pause from the same control or the floating lower-right Pause button.

  3. 3

    Choose 0.5×, 1×, 2× or 4× playback speed.

  4. 4

    Enable Skip idle time to jump over event-free gaps longer than two seconds.

  5. 5

    Drag the slider to jump directly to a point in time. Moving it pauses playback.

  6. 6

    Observe the current event, cursor, selection, typing, deletion, paste and spelling-correction indicators.

  7. 7

    In the timeline, toggle typing, deletion, paste, revision, navigation, focus and session series.

  8. 8

    Show the full range, first half, second half or select custom start and end points.

  9. 9

    Use the editing summary to inspect elapsed time, event count, sessions, active days, pauses and daily activity.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Review WPM, active time, total open time and inactive time in the analytics panel.

  2. 2

    Inspect typed characters, corrections, selections, copies, pastes, deleted characters and cursor moves.

  3. 3

    Use Group position to compare WPM with the group minimum, mean, median and maximum.

  4. 4

    Read the signals and normal-workflow observations in the workflow review card.

  5. 5

    Enter a score from 0 to 100, or choose a preset: excellent 95, good 85, average 75, pass 65 or fail 40.

  6. 6

    Write optional global feedback of up to 2,000 characters.

  7. 7

    Press “Save grade”. The submission becomes graded and the student can see the score and global feedback in Grades.

10Teaching team and overall statisticsInvite instructors, remove members and inspect course-level performance statistics.

    As an institution administrator, open Team.

  2. 2

    Enter or paste one or more instructor email addresses and press Invite.

  3. 3

    Review each member's name, email address and institution role.

  4. 4

    To remove a non-administrator instructor, press the delete icon and confirm.

  5. 5

    Open Statistics and select one course or all courses.

  6. 6

    Review submission count, average WPM, average active time, completion rate, grade distribution, submissions over time and WPM distribution.

    Use Top performers to compare average grade and completed assignment count.

11Settings, notifications and privacyManage data scope, email alerts, notification history, data export and account erasure requests.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open Settings.

  2. 2

    On “Data visibility”, use the “Displayed data” field to choose “Active institution only” or “All available institutions”.

  3. 3

    Save the scope. The target institution for write operations still remains the active workspace.

  4. 4

    On Notifications, enable email and optionally new-submission alerts, then save.

  5. 5

    Filter notification history by event type, email delivery state and time period. Delivery may be disabled, pending, processing, sent, failed or cancelled.

  6. 6

    On “Data and account”, press the personal-data download button to download your portable archive.

  7. 7

    Before requesting erasure, read the consequences, enter the exact confirmation “DELETE” and press the destructive request button.
